Playing on the sympathy of others, fraudsters are even victimizing consumers through humanitarian relief scams. [You can take steps to lessen your chances]( of becoming a victim, including monitoring your account regularly, setting up account notifications and refraining from giving sensitive information over the phone, text, email or social media. It’s important to also set up two-factor authentication on your accounts and not use the same password for multiple accounts.
