Here’s what we got on deck for you today: 💣 New Inflation Data Signals Fall Rate Cuts of 25 Basis Points 😎 💣 Judge Narrows Privacy Lawsuit Against Apple Over Data Collection 📱 💣 Video: How To Create And Roll A Money Press 💸 Markets At A Glance🔎 As of September 30, 2024, 12:00 PM MST Treasure Hunting Climate 📈 The market had another positive week as the S&P 500 inched up to new all-time highs yet again. The Nasdaq continues to lag behind the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones, but the tech-heavy index has cleared the August high/resistance level, indicating a technical uptrend as well. (meaning it has ended market drops and/or bear markets and leads turnarounds) Since 1950, in election years, October has also been the worst performing month on the calendar... just some food for thought on how the upcoming election could impact the markets. See you next week! View From The Crow's Nest 👀 New Inflation Data Signals Fall Rate Cuts of 25 Basis Points 😎 Friday's inflation data keeps the Federal Reserve on track for 25 basis point rate cuts this fall. The core PCE index rose to 2.7% in August, slightly up from 2.6% in July, still above the Fed’s 2% target.
