The relief from the selling was nice, but many are thinking we haven't seen the bottom yet. With the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 in a short-term downtrend, we want to start seeing the indices break from that before we start feeling too bullish again. Again, these 10% corrections (typically happen once every 12 months or so) are very needed and necessary for the markets. It can be a choppy climb out of these corrections, but typically it sets up for some great opportunities. If we see the markets turn and head downward again, we will watch closely to see how it reacts if/when it gets near the previous lows. We will watch intently for any signs that the downside movement is stalling and try to time when the reversal back upwards might be happening. As of now we are still being more defensive, but ready to start getting our capital back to work and waiting for the right timing to start building up bullish positions again. See you next week!
