July 05, 2024 | [Read Online]( This Market Is a One-Stock Phenom By Don Kaufman Holiday markets are usually very sleepy; low volumes and tame price action. Not this one. The holiday trade hanging over from yesterday’s break is packing quite a punch. After an extremely sleepy start this morning, the S&P 500 ended the day red-hot, up 0.54% - I’ll show you what that really looks like in a second. But, as happens a lot lately, that heat is courtesy of… one stock. Not that most tech stocks didn’t have a great day, but META - that’s Facebook to those of us older than 3 - tore it up this session, better than 5%. The market for META options was looking for a $10 move this week… and it got double that. That’s got some heavy implications, as we’ll see. We’ve got to talk about Bitcoin, too. It’s tanking. One Bitcoin would’ve bought you more than $71,000 at the end of May and now it’s trading for $56,000 and change. [We’re going to look at all of this - and, best of all, what you can do to]([make money on it]([right now…Â]( And now to Don Kaufman… [TheoTrade Daily Chatroom Schedule for Monday, July 8, 2024]( 9:20 AM - 10:30 AM: I’ll be opening the markets up for the first full week of Q3 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Professor Bierman will show you how to trade better 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Blake Young talks charts and trading 12:30 PM - 1:15 PM: Gianni Di Poce looks at the wider markets  1:15 PM - 2:00 PM: Brandon Chapman tracks big money flow  2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Tony Rago will be sharing his key trading levels NQ 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Cory Rosenbloom takes on the best trade and range day plays These Stocks Have Been Hijacked… And You Can Collect The machines - the algos - have more or less taken over the entire tech sector. Professor Bierman saw they were initially just buying 52-week highs and selling 52-week lows.“All tech stocks are being jacked,” he said in the chat. This is bad news for people who are unprepared for this. A lot of regular investors, especially traders, are probably going to get crushed by the machines. Remember - basically all of Wall Street is in on this now. BUT… if you’re moving with the algos, you stand a pretty good chance of cleaning up alongside them… again and again. [Professor Bierman is dropping his first public algo trade early this week - click here to learn how to get in on it. Â]( Make Sure You’re Getting This Every Week Fridays at 8:45 AM ET, Brandon Chapman and Blake Young go live to walk their audience through stocks to buy (and avoid), the macro stories moving markets, and tons of fresh trading ideas… …and they do it all for no charge whatsoever.
