This grassroots team is incredible, and I’m so proud of the campaign we’re building together – one rooted in our shared values of freedom, fairness, and opportunity for all. But let me be clear: We can’t let up. Not one bit. [The next eight months will present challenge after challenge. We’re going to have to work hard every day to protect North Carolina – that’s why I’m counting on your help. The general election starts now: Will you split a contribution between my campaign and The Majority Rules now?]( If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be automatically split between Josh Stein and the Majority Rules. My dad helped found the first integrated law firm in North Carolina. He and his partners fought against discrimination and for equality. They kept up that fight even after extremists firebombed their office, burning it to the ground. Today, we’re once again at a crossroads. Extremists in North Carolina and across the country are threatening the values we hold most dear. Mark Robinson – a conspiracy theorist and far-right extremist – was just selected to lead the top of the ticket for NC’s GOP in November. He’s pushing for a total ban on abortion, promising to further strip funding for public schools, and threatening North Carolinians’ voting rights. He’s also touted dangerous conspiracy theories: calling a school shooting survivor a “crisis actor,” questioning whether 9/11 was an inside job, and claiming the Holocaust was “hogwash.” Mark Robinson is one of the most extreme statewide-elected Republicans in the country – and yet the latest polls show us statistically TIED. The National GOP knows North Carolina is its top pickup opportunity, so we’re expecting them to flood money into our state to back Robinson. [It will take everything we have to defeat Robinson and the National GOP on November 5th. Split a donation between my campaign and The Majority Rules now to help us win this toss-up race and defeat extremism in North Carolina →]( If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be automatically split between Josh Stein and the Majority Rules. I’ve advocated for consumers mistreated by predatory corporations, worked to keep communities and families safe, and defended reproductive and voting rights. North Carolina is our home. My wife Anna and I both grew up here. We raised our three kids here. They all went to North Carolina public schools, just like Anna and I did. I love this state and think it’s the best place to live, work, and raise a family. [But far-right extremists are taking us down the wrong path. We can beat them with your help – please join us in the fight for North Carolina’s future by contributing whatever you can today.]( Thank you to everyone who has supported our campaign so far and invested in our vision for a stronger, safer North Carolina. I can’t wait to continue in this fight together. Let’s get going! Josh Stein --------------------------------------------------------------- [SUPPORT DEMOCRACY]( The Majority Rules is a coalition of concerned citizens like you fighting to end partisan gerrymandering and ensure fair elections. We’re focused on making sure everyone who’s able to vote, CAN vote. We support candidates who share that vision, and your donation goes towards getting them elected. This year is going to be huge in the fight for fair elections! We have seen that voting rights and the integrity of our elections continue to be under attack. Some candidates and organizations have continued to use shady undemocratic tactics to suppress voters. It’s time to fight back! Established in December 2016, The Majority Rules is a coalition of concerned citizens like you. We use your donations to promote state and federal candidates and initiatives across the US to achieve fair elections. We are not aligned with any party or organization. Paid for by The Majority Rules PAC and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
