It seems left-wing late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is back at it again, but this time, he's not even the one leading the charge. Nope, he handed the reins to his wife, Molly McNearny, so she could launch into an unhinged, rage-filled rant aimed squarely at former President Donald Trump. Because when in doubt, blame Trump, right? This all started after Trump, during a rally in Indiana, took a swipe at Kimmel, calling him "the worst host in the history of the Academy Awards" and "one of the dumbest human beings ever." Honestly, is he wrong? Anyone who sat through Kimmel's cringeworthy Oscar hosting knows it was an endurance test. Trump's remark was just another classic rally zinger, but Kimmel, ever the sensitive soul, decided to air his grievances on national TV. During his monologue, Kimmel quipped, "Isn't that sweet? He's confusing me with one of his sons again." Real original, Jimmy. But it didn't stop there. Kimmel, who's clearly feeling flattered by Trump's attention, wondered aloud if the former president was "flirting" with him. Well, if this is Kimmel's idea of flirting, no wonder his ratings have tanked. But the real show began when Kimmel invited his wife on stage. Enter Molly McNearny, who clearly had some things to get off her chest-mostly about abortion and the Supreme Court. "I'm glad I have your attention," she began, addressing Trump as though her late-night soapbox is somehow the voice of reason. What followed was a predictable laundry list of leftist talking points: abortion bans, IVF access, and, of course, blaming Trump for everything under the sun. McNearny's main gripe? That thanks to Trump, women in 21 states can't make their own choices about their bodies. Of course, she left out any nuance about how states actually have the right to make their own laws-because that would require acknowledging the democratic process. But why bother with details when you can just blame Trump for everything? She also claimed that "good doctors are quitting" and women are "dying" because of policies enacted under Trump. If that sounds a little dramatic, that's because it is. McNearny wrapped up her rant with what she clearly thought was a mic-drop moment, telling Trump to "shut up and go away." And if that wasn't classy enough, she threw in a little dig about Trump spending his days "cheating at golf and masturbating to Newsmax." Stay classy, Molly. Nothing says "I'm making a serious political point," like middle school-level insults. Jimmy Kimmel handed his show over to his wife/executive producer Molly McNearney Tues night after Donald Trump again suggested at a rally that Kimmel should have listened to her when she advised him not make his knockout "past your jail time" joke at this year's Oscars. Kimmel and McNearny can have their little late-night therapy sessions, but they should know that the American public isn't buying what they're selling. Instead of delivering comedy, they're serving up tired rants, proving once again that when you've got nothing new to offer, just blame Trump and hope for the best.
