PM to lay foundation stone for Sant Ravidas temple, address rally in MP’s Sagar Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of a Rs 100-crore temple dedicated to the 14th-century mystic poet and social reformer Sant Ravidas in the poll-bound Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, a state BJP minister said. This will be PM’s second visit to the Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled state in just over a month. 2. G20 anti-corruption ministerial meeting India is seeking a consensus among G20 nations against fugitive economic offenders to ensure their faster extradition and asset recovery, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said. Ahead of today’s crucial G20 anti-corruption ministerial meeting, he said economic offences remain a problem faced by many, especially when offenders flee the country’s jurisdiction. The third and final meeting of the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group (ACWG) under India’s Presidency will take place from August 9-11, 2023 in Kolkata. 3. Pak PM Sharif says name of caretaker premier to be finalised today Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the name of the caretaker premier would be finalised today, as the country’s president wrote to him and the opposition leader to propose a “suitable person” for appointment by August 12. Sharif said the Constitution provided eight days for the appointment of the caretaker premier after the dissolution of the National Assembly (NA), the lower house of Parliament. 4.
