Phase-III of Sagar Parikrama covering Guj-Maha coastal districts to kickstart on Sunday The Gujarat government on Saturday said the third phase of the ‘Sagar Parikrama’ which aims to resolve the issues of fishermen and other stakeholders and facilitate their economic upliftment through various schemes -- covering coastal districts of Gujarat and Maharashtra, will kickstart on Sunday. 3. Pt Vijay Kichlu to be cremated on Sunday The mortal remains of eminent classical singer Pandit Vijay Kumar Kichlu will be cremated on Sunday. Kichlu, a Padma Shri awardee and recipient of the Sangit Natak Akademi award, passed away at a Kolkata hospital on Friday evening at the age of 93. 4. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle Mission 2023 to be launched today The newly-designated Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais will take the oath of office at the Raj Bhavan on February 18, an official said on Friday. Mr. Bais, 75, is the Governor of Jharkhand and has been transferred to Maharashtra by President Draupadi Murmu, in a major gubernatorial reshuffle effected last Sunday. 5. Ranji Trophy finals today Saurashtra look poised to lift their second Ranji Trophy after skipper Jaydev Unadkat and Chetan Sakariya grabbed two wickets each to leave hosts Bengal struggling at 169 for four in their second innings on day three of the final at the Eden Gardens on Saturday. Unadkat’s side could well wrap up the game on Sunday.
