Putin, Xi to speak Friday via video-link: Kremlin Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks by video link with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Friday, the Kremlin said, as Russia seeks to bolster ties with Beijing. “It will be very important to exchange views on the most acute regional problems, which are both those that are closer to us, to Russia, and those that are closer to China,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. 6. Amit Shah on 2-day visit to Karnataka’s Mandya, Bengaluru Rural districts from Friday Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will be on a two-day visit to Mandya and Bengaluru Rural districts of the poll-bound Karnataka from Friday. Shah will attend three events in Gejjalagere, Mandya, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, and Sauharda, Bengaluru Rural district, all related to the cooperative sector. He will also address public gatherings in his two-day visit to Karnataka, where elections for 224 Assembly seats are scheduled next year as the tenure of the state Assembly is expiring on May 28, 2023.
