1. India and Nepal to carry out two-week military exercise from Friday Armies of India and Nepal will carry out a two-week mega military exercise beginning Friday to boost interoperability in jungle warfare and counter-terror operations. The 16th Edition of the ‘Surya Kiran’ exercise is taking place at the Army Battle School in Nepal’s Saljhandi area. The annual exercise is aimed at enhancing interoperability in jungle warfare and counter terrorism operations in mountainous terrain, the Indian Army said. 2. Bharat Jodo Yatra completes 100 days on Friday The ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra,’ started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7 and will end in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. It will complete 100 days on Friday. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will join the Yatra in Dausa. 3. Government’s share sale in IRCTC over-subscribed As much as 10 per cent of the issue is reserved for retail investors, for whom bidding would open on Friday. On Thursday, bids for over 5.55 crore shares, representing 3.08 times the base issue size of 1.80 crore shares were put in by institutional investors. Calculated on the basis of the floor price, the bids would be valued at about Rs 3,800 crore. 4.
