COP27 U.N. climate talks extended by a day With countries unable to arrive at a consensus, the 27 th edition of the United Nations Conference of Parties (COP) in Sharm el-Sheikh, which was scheduled to end on Friday, has been extended by a day. The talks were extended in an effort to break a deadlock over creating a fund for developing countries devastated by the fallout from global warming. 2. The trade fair was open exclusively for business visitors for the first five days. 6. Manika Batra becomes first Indian to reach Asian Cup TT semifinals Manika will meet world number five and second seed Mima Ito of Japan in the semifinals on Saturday. The other semifinal will be played between world number four Wang Yidi of China and Hina Hayata (world number six) of Japan. 7. Indian Racing League to begin from Saturday in Hyderabad and Chennai The racing league, which will bring together drivers from across the country and abroad, will begin with the first round at Hyderabad on November 19 and 20. Two of the four rounds will be held at the Madras International Circuit (MIC) near Chennai while the others will be held at the Hyderabad street circuit. The Delhi High Court has refused to quash the sanction given for conducting the Indian Racing League.
