Elon Musk takes over Twitter, fires CEO Parag Agrawal Elon Musk became Twitter's new owner, firing top executives he had accused of misleading him and providing little clarity over how he will achieve the lofty ambitions he has outlined for the influential social media platform. Mr. Musk terminated Twitter Chief Executive Parag Agrawal, Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal and legal affairs and policy chief Vijaya Gadde, according to people familiar with the matter. 2. 'Chintan Shivir' of state home ministers begins in Haryana; PM Modi to address delegates Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a two-day brainstorming session with the Home Ministers of all States on several internal security issues, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the delegates. Mr. Modi will address the state home ministers and top police officials today through video conference. 3. Bihar bypolls | Tejashwi to hit campaign trail today Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav will be in Gopalganj today to address an election rally. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may not canvass for the bypolls in the state where his current ally RJD is locked in a straight contest with former alliance partner BJP. 4. Swedish tourists, held for allegedly trying to convert people in Assam, sent to Delhi The Assam police on Wednesday detained three Swedish nationals for allegedly misusing their tourist visas to preach among tea plantation workers. The Swedish embassy arranged for their stay for the night in Delhi, and they are expected to fly to Stockholm today. 5. British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly to visit India on Friday In Mumbai, Cleverly will pay his respects to those who lost their lives in the terror attack at the Taj Palace Hotel in 2008 on Friday. 6. Railways to launch month-long safety drive The Railway Ministry has directed the railway zones to launch a month-long safety drive on Friday to remove any gap in the maintenance of fixed assets, locomotives and rolling stock and for strengthening safety across the railway network. 7.
