Russia to annex more of Ukraine today Russia has planned to annex more of Ukraine on Friday in an escalation of the seven-month war that seemed sure to further isolate the Kremlin, draw it more international punishment and bring extra military, political and economic support to Ukraine. 2. Finland to ban entry to Russian tourists starting midnight The Finnish government said on Thursday it would significantly limit passenger traffic on Finland's border with Russia, banning Russian citizens travelling with tourist visas from entering the Nordic country effective Friday. 3. Congress president polls | Tharoor, Digvijaya likely to file papers today Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge will be meeting Sonia Gandhi this morning.
