Ms. Hasina, who last visited the country in 2019, was received at the airport by Union Minister Darshana Jardosh and will hold talks with Mr. Modi on Tuesday in the national capital. Monsoon Session of Telangana Legislature from today The stage is set for the commencement of the Monsoon Session of the State Legislature from September 6. The ruling party is likely to introduce an amendment to the GHMC and Municipalities Act paving the way for the enhancement of the number of co-opted members. The amendment has been contemplated after the State Cabinet, in its recent meeting, decided to increase the strength of co-opted members from existing five to 15. 3. Delhi BJP MLAs to meet President Murmu today to demand AAP governmentâs dismissal Delhi BJP MLAs will meet President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday to demand the dismissal of the AAP government over a host of issues, including allegations of corruption against its ministers. The BJP leaders will submit a memorandum to Ms. Murmu.
