Budget session of Puducherry Assembly begins today The budget session of the Puducherry territorial assembly is scheduled to begin today with the customary address by Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. 6. Panchayat election in Goa today As many as 186 panchayat bodies will go to polls in Goa today with more than 5,000 candidates in the fray, an official from the State Election Commission said on Tuesday. At least 5,038 candidates will contest the panchayat polls from 1,464 wards across the State, he said. 7. Kejriwal in Gujarat today Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is all set to announce another pre-poll ‘guarantee’. 8.
