Jharkhand gears up for two-day tribal festival in Ranchi’s Morabadi ground The Jharkhand government is all set to hold a two-day tribal festival, beginning today, to mark the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, popularly known as the International Tribal Day, an official said on Monday. An array of programmes related to tribal art, culture, tradition and literature will be organized during the two-day festival here at Ranchi’s Morabadi ground. Unveiling of Corona Warriors Memorial, British-era ‘Phansi Ghar’ on Delhi Assembly premises today Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will unveil the renovated British-era ‘Phansi Ghar’ (execution room) and a Corona Warriors Memorial on the Delhi Assembly premises today, according to an official invite. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel and his deputy Rakhi Birla will also attend the event, it stated. 6. Somaiya to visit Ratnagiri today to demand razing of resort ‘linked’ to ex-Maha minister Anil Parab BJP leader Kirit Somaiya on Monday said he will visit Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri district today to demand the razing of an ‘illegally constructed’ resort in Dapoli town, allegedly linked to Shiv Sena leader and former minister Anil Parab.
