1. Droupadi Murmu to file nomination papers today NDA’s nominee for President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Delhi from Bhubaneswar on Thursday, a day before she files her nomination papers for the post. Sources said that her nomination papers were being prepared at Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi’s residence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior ministers Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah, and BJP president J.P. Nadda will be among her proposers. She is likely to file her nomination in the presence of top party leaders. 2. DCGI panel to review SII applications for Covovax’s use among kids aged 2-7 yrs, 7-11 yrs today The subject expert committee on COVID-19 of India’s drug regulator will review the applications of Serum Institute of India seeking emergency use authorisation to use Covovax among those aged two to seven years and seven to 11 years today, official sources said. 3. Jaishankar meets counterparts from Commonwealth countries Jaishankar arrived in the Rwandan capital Kigali on Wednesday on a four-day visit to attend the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
