1. Crucial farmer unions meeting on Sunday The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of the agitating unions, is meeting on Sunday to decide on the next course of action, including on the MSP issue and the proposed daily tractor march to Parliament during the upcoming Winter Session, SKM core committee member Darshan Pal said. Ruling BJP MP Varun Gandhi also joined the chorus on Saturday saying the stir won't end till this issue is resolved. 2. Guided missile destroyer Visakhapatnam to be inducted into Navy on Sunday Indigenously-built stealth guided missile destroyer Visakhapatnam, packed with an array of missiles and anti-submarine rockets, will be inducted into the Indian Navy on Sunday. The induction ceremony, to be held at the Western Naval Command, will be attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and top naval commanders, officials said. 3. Rajasthan cabinet to have 12 new faces, 5 from Pilot camp The new Rajasthan cabinet will see 12 new faces, including five from the Sachin Pilot camp, in the reshuffle slated on Sunday, sources said. The ministers will be seen taking oath today. The Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government will have a total of 30 ministers, including 18 who resigned earlier. Three Ministers of State have been elevated to the Cabinet rank, the sources said. The new cabinet will have four members from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and three from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities, besides three women, including a Muslim face, they added. 4. 10th Mega Vaccination Camp in Tamil Nadu on Sunday The 10th edition of the camp is scheduled to be held across Tamil Nadu through 50,000 camps on Sunday. The ninth edition on November 18 saw 8.36 lakh people receive the jabs. 5. SC East Bengal, Jamshedpur FC eye three points in campaign opener Coming off a disappointing last season, SC East Bengal and Jamshedpur FC both stressed on the importance of winning the first match as they kick off their campaign in the Indian Super League in Vasco on Sunday. 6. Ready for clean sweep, Rohit's India may try new combinations Captain Rohit Sharma will not waver from his ruthless approach but might try out a few of his reserve players as India aim for a clean sweep against New Zealand in the third and final T20 International, in Kolkata on Sunday. The likes of Avesh Khan, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan will fancy their chances of getting a game. This could also give a much-needed break to the senior players, who surely must be reeling under the hectic schedule. Morning Filter will return tomorrow.
