Several parts of the city were flooded as the IMD predicted heavy rainfall in Chennai and its neighbourhood for the next three hours. In light of the rains, 3000 cusecs of water were released from Poondi Reservoir today from 9 a.m. onwards. People residing in low lying areas on the banks of river Kosasthalaiyar were advised to be on alert. 2. Mr. Naidu is scheduled to return to the national capital on Sunday evening. 4. Third Goa Maritime Conclave to begin The third edition of the Goa Maritime Conclave, the Indian Navy's outreach initiative, will be held between November 7 and 9, where the non-traditional threats in the Indian Ocean Region and other issues will be discussed, a navy spokesperson said. Chiefs of navies or heads of maritime forces from 12 Indian Ocean littorals - Bangladesh, Comoros, Indonesia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Myanmar, Seychelles, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand - will participate in the event, he said. 5.
