Stop electioneering for now, farm bodies to ask political parties at todayâs meeting Farmer bodies protesting the Centreâs agriculture laws have called a meeting of political parties on Friday to press them not to carry out electioneering till the Punjab Assembly polls are announced. The BJP has not been called for the meeting. 4. No COVID-19 vaccination at public centres in Mumbai today Coronavirus vaccination centres run by the Maharashtra government and the civic body in Mumbai will remain shut on September 10 due to administrative and technical reasons, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said on Thursday. A BMC release said the inoculation drive at these centres will resume on September 11. 5. Rahul Gandhi arrives in Jammu; to pay obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who arrived in Jammu on Thursday for a two-day visit, paid obeisance at the Mata Vaishnodevi temple after undertaking a foot journey to reach the cave shrine atop the Trikuta hills in Reasi district. 6.
