Earlier, the private bus owners were not ready to operate intrastate buses after the government had given them a permission on May 24 as they felt that they would have to pay taxes for the month of May.
5) Kolkata Metro to start trial run of trains from Thursday for maintenance
The Kolkata Metro Railway will start trial runs of trains for maintenance of its rolling stock, signalling systems and other facilities from Thursday to keep them ready as and when services are allowed to be restarted, an official said on Wednesday.
