The speculation is that he will be given a a Rajya Sabha ticket by the BJP and possibly inducted into the Union Cabinet. 2) BJP may stake claim to form government in Madhya Pradesh Mr Scindia’s switching sides has left the Madhya Pradesh government in deep trouble. With 22 MLAs resigning, the Congress strength in the House drops to 92 – giving the upper hand to BJP, which has 107. BJP leader Narottam Mishra said his party will stake claim if the Kamal Nath government falls. 3) Lok Sabha to discuss Delhi riots The Lok Sabha will discuss the Delhi riots on Wednesday under Rule 193 of the house proceedings which means there will be no voting after the debate. The Congress had long been pressing for the discussion and disrupted the house’s functioning but the government maintained that they will only discuss the issue after Holi. 4) YES Bank Rana Kapoor arrest custody ends today The custody of Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 8, and placed under house arrest, ends on Wednedsay, March 11. 5) COVID-19 updates and fresh cases in India and world With at least 14 people testing postive for COVID-19 in India, including Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka, health officials are scrambling to limit the spread of the disease in India. Watch out for the latest updates [here](. 6) Australia's High Court to hear Pell abuse appeal Wednesday The most senior Catholic to be convicted of child sex abuse will take his appeal to Australia’s highest court on Wednesday in potentially his last bid to clear his name. Cardinal George Pell was sentenced a year ago to six years in prison for molesting two 13-year-old choirboys in Melbourne’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral while he was the city’s archbishop in the late 1990s. 7) SBI Card's IPO share allotment likely on March 11 The share allotment of SBI Card’s IPO share allotment is likely from today.. Last Wednesday, on March 4, the IPO had achieved the highest subscription from qualified institutional buyers (QIB) category. 8) Realme 6 goes on first sale from March 11 Chinese smartphone maker Realme on Tuesday announced that its recently launched smartphone Realme 6 will go on first sale from March 11 on realme.com, flipkart.com and across offline preferred partners. 9) Ranji Trophy | Saurashtra vs Day 3 Vasavada and Pujara’s 142-run partnership helped Saurashtra reach 384 for eight at the close of play on Tuesday.
