Dear Reader, With each new Trump indictment, the left’s strategy becomes increasingly evident.

[View in browser](=.Og5uOgK2ktajAwDnNiDv7_T9yBZczkLSZBuhXd6nhC4) Dear Reader, With each new Trump indictment, the left’s strategy becomes increasingly evident. It isn’t to bring real criminal charges based on actual violations of the law or to see justice applied equally and fairly. The strategy is to flex their power in [an effort to humiliate and discourage Trump and his voter base](=.4P8PLfxOHJqFuxPin6t8KSFT_6yYiy7AnFG60QcwNL8). The latest indictment of Trump is even more outlandish than Jack Smith’s blatant attempt to criminalize free speech. The charge out of Fulton County, Georgia, [criminalizes mundane activities](=._-blmD79qpnQmhdpTy8-jo2PDG9b_GRVTasQlL2RQDI) like asking for a phone number, texting, encouraging people to watch a televised hearing, and reserving a room at the Georgia capitol. Simply put, the charges are bogus. The left is obviously not seeking true justice, they’re interfering in yet another election. We could highlight the hypocrisy of the left by highlighting the election denials from Hillary Clinton, Stacy Abrams, and other Democrats—but what’s the use? Yes, the left is hypocritical, but they get away with it because they make sure the game isn’t played on an even playing field. If Republicans plan on taking strides to combat the left’s continued attacks, they need to get off their butt and start taking action. There are 27 Republican attorney generals in the U.S., compared to 23 Democrats. But you’d hardly know it these days. To compete with the left, maybe Republicans should mimic the left’s approach of “Investigate first, define the crimes later.” And for even the most minor of offenses, the rule should be: [no charity, no goodwill, no mercy](=.cuTImQlfT4hePX3Wlyg0JFQ8jv9VuEQf-bu8UQ1vyc8). After all, it’s what Democrats have practiced for the past seven years.
