There's so much good music that dropped today AND the temperature went above 50° AND I got to drink cognac with YG, so I think I'm having the best day of all time? I hope you guys had similarly good days. This intro is gonna be short today because A. the aforementioned cognac got me feeling a way and B. I just wanna hop right into everything that came out!! So here's the plan, we're all gonna listen to "I Like It" and then we're gonna dive into the newsletter. Got it? Let's go. [Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin - I Like It [Official Audio]]( Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin - I Like It - Sorry, I can't stop thinking about how Cardi really blessed us with an album full of bangers. All killer, no filler, as the kids say. I think my favorite is "I Like It" but that's totally subject to change within the next five minutes because all the songs are so good. If you haven't listened yet, what the hell are you waiting for? That's honestly a little embarrassing for you? Please [fix it?]( - Big day for Summer Music Issue 2K17 cover stars. Not only did Cardi come through, but [Kali Uchis]( finally dropped her album! We stan a long-awaited debut. - First you should listen to Azealia Banks' new song ["Anna Wintour"]( and dance around your room like a maniac. Then you should read Myles on why, even though she is problematic as hell, Azealia is still [a net positive]( (spoiler: it's because the music is really really good). - John Legend and BloodPop teamed up a song called ["A Good Night"]( that literally sounds like spring. I feel like I'm willing warm weather into existence by listening to this song. - Poo Bear tapped Justin Bieber and Jay Electronica for ["Hard 2 Face Reality"]( which is filling the Bieber-sized hole in my heart. Please don't @ me. - This week was clearly the beginning of Song Of The Summer Season (hereby referred to as SOTSS). You might be thinking, It's not even summer yet. True, but anyone who pays attention knows that SOTSS begins when it's still chilly in order to give contenders time to grow on people before it's officially summer. Two people who have already demonstrated an understanding this method, Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris, just threw their hats in the ring with ["One Kiss."]( Can it go all the way? Only time will tell. me riding this new wave of summer songs [SHOP NOW]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Instagram]( [Youtube]( [Tumblr]( [Snapchat]( © 2018 The FADER | All rights reserved.
