Smash that mf'in like if you also took a sort of unnecessary WFH day today because of a snowstorm you thought would be a little scarier. Apologies to my employer for being spooked, but congratulations to myself for watching two movies and eating nothing but apples and almond butter while I worked. And while it maybe impeded my ability to go into work, the snow did not stop us from pubbing some fire content on the world wide web. Now is the part where I show you the aforementioned fire content. - One of the best songs all year came out today! It's ["Pristine" by Snail Mail]( and if you don't think it's a perfect rock song then please unsubscribe because I don't want this going out to haters!! (Please don't unsubscribe I think I would get in trouble for that, just re-evaluate your taste in music I guess.) - Remember when I mentioned having watched a movie today? Well that movie was Clueless, because it is [the perfect snow day movie.]( However, my coworkers had their own opinions about what to watch on a snow day, so we fought about it through blog posts. Myles thinks you should watch [The Parent Trap]( (sure!) and Patrick thinks you should watch [Wind River]( (a choice I don't understand but do respect). - What rules this week? The band Crumb, that's what! This four-piece group manages to make good psych-pop without being pretentious about it, which is harder than you might realize. Find out just exactly why they rule [here.]( - Lawrence Rothman premiered their short film [Feast of Faces]( today on the site. It is creepy in a cool way, and I definitely watched it twice to make sure I got it. Idk if I truly did, but I had a fun time watching!! - Y'all been fuckin with that Jehri Curl Drake memes? So have we. Actually we liked them so much that we put them [all in one place]( for optimal consumption. Thank us later. - The [Lollapalooza lineup]( is here and my 16-year-old self is crying at the idea of seeing Vampire Weekend and Arctic Monkeys on the same stage. Also, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, and Lil Uzi Vert will be there. [YBN Nahmir - Rubbin Off the Paint - Live at FADER FORT (VR180)]( YBN Nahmir won't be at Lolla, but that's their loss!
