#WORNDIFFERENT NYC: A CLASH OF ART AND MUSIC Dr. Martens have been keeping independent musicians and artists bouncing in style for as long as most of us can remember. Now the footwear brand is showing some real love for the people who have rocked their boots from the jump. At their [#WornDifferent NYC]( function, Dr. Martens brought out a wild combination of local NYC favorites, including visual artists like the crazy under-appreciated Aaron Fowler and Tamara Santibañez, whose tattoo style is being copied pretty much everywhere right now. Then they threw a killer show. It was refreshing af to see local artists with sounds as diverse as Nasty Nigel (DJing crazy footwork tracks), Jimi Tents (Brooklyn's sauciest rapper), Tei Shi (beautiful heartbreak, with saxophone), and Beach Fossils (indie rock heroes, also with saxophone) all on the same bill, and it was even more refreshing to watch the room go crazy for all three sets. The dream of the unified scene, ya'll. Check the vid below to see a recap of the action. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
