Hello Friend, One of my "Simple Trading Plan, Loaded Gun" traders told me that he was concerned about the fact that he could only trade for a couple of hours in the morning. I think he was surprised by my reaction. I responded, "That's Great!" Some of the best traders I know (and me, too), limit the time they trade PURPOSELY. The longer you trade the more likely you are to get distracted, resulting in you missing a trade and chasing it, getting bored and losing your patience enough to take a trade that's not in your plan, etc. The more limited in time you are for you trading, the more focused you are to pay attention to every opportunity your plan gives you. You only have a short time to trade, so you make the most of it. One of the most successful traders using my Loaded Gun plan has only 90 minutes to trade before he has to go to his job (he's a highly paid sales trainer). In his case, I suggested he trade with 2-minute candle charts (rather than the 5-minute he was using) so that he could uncover more entry triggers during the short time he had to trade. Note: He asked if 1-minute would be even better. My answer was that in the NQ contract, trades can easily move away from you in split second and very few traders I know are fast enough to trade the 1-minute. The 2-minute NQ fit like a glove and produced beautifully. Bottom line: Yes, the more time you have to trade, the more trades you can take and the more money you can make, assuming you have a valid, tested plan...In theory. But in reality, too much time can cause a waning of focus and poor outcomes. Decide what's best for you. If you don't already own my Simple Trading Plan, Loaded Gun, take a look [HERE]() and join our tribe! It includes coaching with me. And, as always… Stay Disciplined!
