We’ve been talking a lot lately about the [10 Minute Marriage Challenge](- but I wanted to share a behind the scenes story on HOW it all began & WHY it’s so important to us. Anyway, we noticed that almost all of the questions that we were getting on a daily basis all seemed to fit into the same category. What can I do? It became pretty apparent pretty quickly that this was a very common problem in a LOT of marriages. So we decided to come up with a solution. We started throwing around ideas for a new program, but we realized right away that in order for it to actually work- it would need to be fast and easy! We knew that we were all crazy busy and if we were actually going to follow through- it needed to be totally do-able, even for couples with the busiest of schedules. The problem to solve: HOW do you add love and romance back into a marriage in a way that is… - FAST - EASY - CONVENIENT - REALISTIC - EFFECTIVE - and... FUN?! Oh, AAAAND in a way that would get BOTH husbands and wives on board?! No easy task, right? After a lot of brainstorming we finally came up with the “10 Minute Marriage Challenge.” All you need is 10 minutes and a phone! The big question remained though…. Would it work? Could 10 minutes really make enough of a difference?! We decided to put it to the test! After 19 rounds and 9,220 couples - this is what we’ve found! The Results… - Both husbands and wives reported that they felt closer than ever before. - Husbands who had been labeled “unromantic” were being praised for romantic gestures they had never thought to try before. - Wives that struggled with intimacy told us that for the first time in their marriage it was happening easily and naturally. - Couples who used to fight a lot were suddenly laughing and communicating instead. - And, my favorite... it didn’t just strengthen- it saved marriages!! GUYS! Just saying that still is crazy to me. After each 3-month round we asked our challenger couples to share their results and feedback.
