Make it an Albariño Weekend
Enjoying the crisp freshness from a brilliant, complex varietal of white wine is one of our great pleasures on a beautiful, relaxing weekend. And in the northwest of Spain you'll find one of the most delicious, and inspirational white wine grapes - Albariño!
RÃas Baixas Albariño stands apart. A white wine that can only be produced in Green Spain - crisp, yet floral, pleasing and complex, with traces of sea spray and minerality that are entirely unique to this coastal region. Natural freshness and depth of flavor lend the wines incredible versatility with food, yet they are also beautiful on their own. There is a purity of expression in RÃas Baixas Albariño that cannot be duplicated by any other white wine.

[ALBARIÑO DE FEFIÑANES]
The first vintage of Albariño de Fefiñanes was made in 1928. The current vintage was made from a selection of grapes in the rain-filled summer of 2014 which contributed to a harvest of strong coastal character with prominent varietal aromas and the typical freshness of Albariño wines. Albariño de Fefiñanes is full-bodied in the mouth, silky and very fresh, combining the harmony of flavors with elegance and dignity.

[PAZO SAN MAURO]
Pazo San Mauro is a mono-varietal wine resulting from a meticulous selection of the best grapes from the vineyards. The vines are planted on trellises so that the very best fruit grows in optimum conditions, reaching its peak quality. The grapes are exposed to long hours of sunshine allowing early ripening and complex structures, and yet retaining the maximum acidity. Highly aromatic and nicely balanced, with an interesting, tasty and elegant finish.

[SANTIAGO ROMA]
Santiago Roma is a sustainable winery based out of a restored farmhouse. Made from 100% Albariño, Santiago Roma is great for all of the senses. The grapes come from the estate-owned vineyards and are de-stemmed, cold-pressed at low pressures with pneumatic presses, racked in cold with a controlled fermentation at 64-68°F. On the palate, laurel, lemon and apple are accompanied by a fresh herb background and a touch of pleasant bitterness that gives life to the wine.

The estate vineyards are grown in the O Rosal Valley, located on the Galician riverbanks of the Miño River. On the palate, it is round with hints of mineral and earthy notes.
