Daily Grind:[Share a Cup with a Friend.](    [The DAILY GRIND NEWS](  Grind for September 28, 2017  First sip  "I haven't spoken to my wife in years. I didn't want to interrupt her." - Rodney Dangerfield   [Learn more about RevenueStripe...](  Why So Serious The Headline Mark Hamill trolls Star Wars fans in advance of December movie The Grind American actor Mark Hamill is most famous for his role as Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy. Hamill is passionate about his fans, but sometimes he likes to toy with them: "I'm begging you! For your own good Do Not Read this spoiler-laden comic book before FridayDecember15th 2017. You'll thank me later #Wait4VIII," he tweeted on September 16th. The comic book he referenced (issue #49 of the original Star Wars comic book) shares a title with the upcoming film, but we're pretty sure that's the only thing they have in common. Hamill followed up the joke with another tweet to calm serious Star Wars fans that freaked out when they saw his fake spoiler alert: "Hilarious! If anyone thinks Rian used plot-points from an 80's #SW comic book doesn't know @rianjohnson! #WaitForVIII." What's Next Fans will see Hamill play Luke again in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which hits theaters on December 15th. There are also rumors he will be making an appearance in the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX. Hamill turned 66 this year on September 25th. Take India, for example, where breakneck development is colliding with the effects of rising temperatures and changing weather patterns. Activist say warming is bad news for the large percentage of low-income Indians that depend on agriculture and animal rearing to make a living. In 2015, the country suffered an unprecedented heat wave which killed more than 2,000 people. Air pollution is also a serious problem. Last October, a toxic yellow haze covered New Delhi for days. The level of cancerous PM 2.5 particles surpassed 999 (anything over 300 is considered hazardous). The Details Prominent Indian environmental activist Sunita Narain blames the West's fossil fuel-based economies for the current "climate crisis." She insists globalization has made the situation worse and that India should follow its own development path rather than copy what the West did. "We cannot afford to do what China and America did: have decades of 8% GDP growth, then do a cleanup act later," says Narain. India is the world's third-largest emitter of greenhouse gases, with emissions up nearly 300% since 1990. The country faces international pressure to cut emissions, but many Indians feel that economic development and poverty reduction should take precedence. "The poorest people are in the worst position to address emissions that contribute to climate change, as they are the most vulnerable to its effects," argues Narain, adding that it is unfair to "equate the carbon dioxide contributions of gas guzzling automobiles in Europe...with the methane emissions of draught cattle and rice fields of subsistence farms in West Bengal." Roughly 20% of India's population still lives in poverty, and over 800 million households still use dung-based fuel and carbon-emitting biomass for cooking. One solution is the "per-capita allocation principle," where each person in the world gets equal access to the atmosphere. Narain insists that American and Europe be held responsible for both historical and per-capita emissions and that wealthy nations must cut emissions to create "development space" for emerging countries like India. "There is a stock of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere built up over centuries in the process of creating wealth of nations. It is a natural debt these countries owe to the planet. The principle has to be: they must reduce so that we can grow." In other words, Make America pay Again.  Great to the last drop  Did you know...
