Despite our knowledge of Huawei being a Chinese state-directed company, Google was continuing to work alongside them. Fellow Conservative, I have never seen the political climate like this. While it’s encouraging to see so many people passionate about different topics, it’s alarming to see the amount of discord and ugly rhetoric that’s being spewed around the internet, mainstream media and in conversations. Somehow, it has become acceptable to completely trash someone or make incredibly false accusations about a person without any facts or backup knowledge. This is a dangerous precedent that is being set, and Fellow Conservative we must not let it continue. Don’t get me wrong -- our nation was founded by leaders who disagreed, and a difference of opinions is what makes America great. But, this sudden change of our nation to be able to spew false facts without any ramifications and then get angry if someone disagrees is not a path I want our country to go down. Fellow Conservative, you know you can always count on me to tell you what’s happening and the truth, but we have an uphill battle ahead of us. Democrats would love to see my voice disappear from Washington and I know they are working today to find a candidate to run against me. Our efforts today will ensure that my future campaign has the funds to win which will undoubtedly be a tough fight. You can’t go on Twitter for even 30 seconds today without seeing vicious language and unfounded stories. It’s a scary reality these days, but I’m determined to push past it and ensure you always know what’s truly happening. But I need your help to stay fighting for our values.
