Again! The Conservative Moms  The long-running feud between the media and the Trump White House erupted once again last Thursday afternoon in front of millions of viewers who were tuned in to see the White House's daily briefings. The traditionally composed and professional press briefings of past administrations have now become a hostile environment full of combative nitpicking since the historic election of Donald Trump. Unfortunately, the ringmaster in charge of keeping the frenzied White House press in their place falls to Press Secretary Sarah Sanders who is continuously attacked by the liberal media. On Thursday, the protagonist leading the attack was once again CNN's own Jim Acosta. Acosta grilled Sanders on whether she agreed with the president's assertions that the media is the "enemy of the people". He then went a step further by invoking the president's daughter Ivanka, suggesting that even she disputed her father's characterization of the media. "I think it would be a good thing if you were to say right here, at this briefing, that the press ... are not the enemy of the people. I think we deserve that," Acosta scolded Sanders.
