California wants to mandate corporate gender quotas]( Leave it to California to come up with the first state-mandated gender quota in U.S. history. California lawmakers voted in favor of a bill that will require companies within the state to have at least one woman on its corporate boards by 2019, and one to three women, depending on the size of the company, by 2021.
