The two shared a special bond and John Pouletsos was over the moon about seeing Cara, his daughter, off to prom before tragedy struck their family. Although John never had the chance to take a photo with his beloved daughter on senior prom night, the men he served with at the local fire department for 50 years stepped in to fill the void on Cara's special night in honor of her father. Nearly two dozen men and women from the department arrived to take the photo. Days later, they arrived at her graduation with an even more special surprise. Several residents told a local television station that they've even received offers to sell their land to the government in Starr and Hidalgo counties.
