On her website, Attkisson compiled a list entitled "50 Media Mistakes in the Trump Era" where she accused the media of playing "too fast and loose with our own." Attkisson listed the media's errors in covering Trump and listed a plethora of examples where the media used anonymous sources for stories, took quotes completely outside of their context and used blatantly incorrect information. WH fires back at Laura Bush]( After former first lady Laura Bush penned an op-ed in the Washington Post Sunday calling the administration's zero-tolerance policy "cruel" and "immoral," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders shut down her claims with facts currently being ignored in mainstream media. The truth, Sanders said during the White House daily briefing on Monday, is that the policy was "signed into effect in 2008 under [Laura Bush's] husband's leadership." She also added that the Trump administration inherited the previous administration's immigration problem and is the first to actually step up and try and fix it. College Republicans receive $120K settlement]( The University of Washington has agreed to pay a Republican College group $122,500 in legal fees after the college demanded they pay $17,000 in security fees for a planned rally. UW College Republicans were supposed to partner with the group Patriot Prayer on Feb.1 but the security fees to protect the groups from leftwing political activists made the event unaffordable. College Republicans argued the fees were a form of suppression of their right to free speech. The College Republicans sued and some law professors at the university surprisingly through support behind their First Amendment protections despite not agreeing with their message.
