The truth, Sanders said during the White House daily briefing on Monday, is that the policy was "signed into effect in 2008 under [Laura Bush's] husband's leadership." She also added that the Trump administration inherited the previous administration's immigration problem and is the first to actually step up and try and fix it. College Republicans receive $120K settlement]( The University of Washington has agreed to pay a Republican College group $122,500 in legal fees after the college demanded they pay $17,000 in security fees for a planned rally. UW College Republicans were supposed to partner with the group Patriot Prayer on Feb.1 but the security fees to protect the groups from leftwing political activists made the event unaffordable. College Republicans argued the fees were a form of suppression of their right to free speech. The College Republicans sued and some law professors at the university surprisingly through support behind their First Amendment protections despite not agreeing with their message.
