[View this email in your browser]( Hi {NAME}, In the wake of Covid-19, tens of millions across the world have lost their basic means of livelihood. We are in the midst of the starkest hunger problem our society has seen in recent history. While governments and organizations are doing their bit, this is the moment for every member of our community to take responsibility for the well being and lives of their fellow citizens. A mission we can all join in is the '#Mission30M'. #Mission30M is the largest food relief effort by civic society - through which the Robin Hood Army is bringing together corporates, media houses and volunteers across 10 countries, to serve staple food to thirty million of the most affected people across rural and urban areas. As every RHA initiative, each volunteer will do this in their free time and there will be no monetary donation involved. [The Robin Hood Army]((RHA) is a volunteer organization which has thousands of young professionals and citizens in its ranks. The team collects surplus food from restaurants and distributes it to the less fortunate. In five years, the RHA has served food to 33.1 million people across 181 cities globally. The team has a strict 'no-funds' approach and scales up through social media and partnerships. [Last year, the Robin Hood Army served 5 million people across 5 days.]( [ Serving 30 Million People by Independence Day]( "Anyone can join this global effort to serve - they just need to sign up on robinhoodarmy.com/mission30M.” How this will work: 60,000 'Robins' across 200 cities in India, Bahrain, Botswana, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Uganda, will adopt local neighbourhoods and 5 villages each, and serve rations to 30 million people by 15th August. The food will go to under-developed rural pockets, orphanages, old-age homes, homeless people, ailing patients, and daily labourers. Several organizations including the Godrej Group, K Corp Charitable Foundation, Akshaya Patra and BookMyShow have contributed millions of meals to be served to the needy for this mission. The tech platform created by the RHA team & social media handles will share live feeds of real-time updates across geographies. Similar to our live feed which tracked the five million people served in our last nationwide project, this will motivate masses of volunteers beyond the current team to join and contribute to the movement. Anyone can join this global effort to serve - they just need to sign up on [robinhoodarmy.com/mission30M.]( With private citizens, the youth, and civil society, working together with the best interests of local communities at heart, the idea is to rebuild a world where everyone has access to two fundamental rights: hope and food.
