[View this email in your browser]( Hi {NAME}, With the COVID-19 pandemic decimating India's economy, and even significant businesses reeling from the impact, it would not be surprising to think that the year is a death blow to non-profits creating positive change among India's most deprived. But in truth, these conditions mean the need for disruptive innovations by pioneering founders aimed at the base of the social pyramid has never been stronger. By all indicators, progress in critical criteria like poverty alleviation, education, nutrition, gender equality and especially healthcare, have been pushed by years, if not a full decade. India has to get back on track towards a poverty-free future. In that case, we urgently need to back startups that have change, scalability and transformative technology at the forefront, while remaining non-profits working for the common good in the core. And if you believe this describes you, your non-profit startup or a non-profit startup you know, then The/Nudge Foundation's Incubator program is the support you need. The/Nudge Incubator is a catalyst for the non-profit sector, nudging capable and committed problem solvers to work on some of the most challenging problems faced by India's poor. As they describe themselves - "We believe that top talent is the key to unlock innovation, new philanthropy and public policy and deliver disproportionate impact. Our purpose, therefore, is to nudge and nurture top talent to work on India's most critical challenges." [Got a Non-Profit Startup Tackling Critical Issues in India? But it was more a case of recoveries dropping down, rather than a discovery of new cases going up by any significant amount. A total of 86,052 new cases were detected on Thursday, slightly lower than 86,508 which were found a day earlier, but the recoveries dropped from 87,374 to 81,177. So stay indoors, and be safe!
