It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. To meet this critical need, the American Red Cross is looking for friendly, customer focused individuals to volunteer! Currently there is an urgent need for [Blood Donor Ambassadors]( and [Transportation Specialists]( in many communities! [APPLY NOW]( Are you a friendly, customer focused individual who can help enhance the blood donor experience? Blood Donor Ambassadors engage with blood donors by greeting, registering, answering questions, providing information, and supporting them through the recovery process at the refreshments table. Shifts are typically 4-6 hours on weekdays. Or take the driver’s seat and become a Blood Transportation Specialist! Drivers deliver life-saving blood, platelets or other blood products to hospitals for patients in need. Shifts are typically 4-6 hours on weekdays.
