Heavy rain and dangerous storm surge will lead to major flooding along the Florida shoreline and even inland. Later this week, the storm is also likely to cause heavy rain in Georgia and the Carolinas. Red Cross disaster relief teams have been pre-positioned with truckloads of supplies to support communities impacted by the storms.
