Your help is urgently needed Having trouble viewing this message? [Click Here]( [American Red Cross.]( [DONATE NOW]( [Hurricane Ian's wake]( {NAME}, Just twelve days into July, the American Red Cross has responded to more than 1,800 disasters as extreme, deadly weather wreaks havoc across the country. In the last few days, heavy rainfall has caused significant flooding across New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont. Many areas are underwater and inaccessible, and catastrophic flooding is forcing people from their homes as rain levels up to 500% above normal persist. Vermont in particular has been devastated, seeing two months' worth of rainfall in only a 24-hour period. In other parts of the country, extreme heat has been threatening communities for over a week, with average temperatures reaching 110 degrees in some affected areas. This severe weather is expected to continue. We’re working around the clock to help people prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters across the country.
