Go Gold in support of kids fighting cancer. Meet Wren. She's a sweet 5-year-old battling acute lymph

Go Gold in support of kids fighting cancer. [As we hit the peak of hurricane season, powerful storms will continue to impact hundreds of thousands of people across the country. Nearly 200 blood drives were forced to cancel last week due to Hurricane Florence, resulting in over 5,200 uncollected blood and platelet donations. The American Red Cross sends blood around the country to wherever it is needed most. We encourage eligible donors in parts of the country unaffected by storms to give blood to help ensure a sufficient supply. Will you please schedule your donation appointment today?]( [American Red Cross]( Meet Wren. She's a sweet 5-year-old battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia, the most common form of childhood cancer. In the two years since her diagnosis, Wren has received 16 blood and platelet transfusions. She calls these lifesaving gifts "unicorn juice", thanks to a crafty nurse who used the term to calm her fears during treatment. [Generous donors like you, have helped to restore Wren's strength and spirit so she can fight back against cancer.]( In December, Wren and her family hope to mark a special milestone – ring the bell to signify the end of treatment and her battle with cancer won. More than 15,000 kids and teens in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer each year. Kids like Wren need your donations on a regular basis, as blood transfusions can be a consistent part of their treatment.
