Thank you, the Red Cross community, for your continued support If you are unable to view this message correctly, [click here]( [American Red Cross]( Dear {NAME}, Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross in our response to the catastrophic destruction caused by recent disasters like Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, as well as the wildfires raging in the west, and other local disasters. You made a tremendous difference for families when they needed you most. It has been nearly a month since the deadly Hurricanes Harvey and Irma devastated the Caribbean Islands and much of Florida, Texas and Louisiana – flooding homes, submerging roads, making entire neighborhoods unreachable. As many areas in those Southeastern states remain at risk of flooding and nearly 2,300 residents are still without power in Florida, historic wildfires are raging in four Western states and Hurricane Maria has caused further devastation to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. But thanks to your support, {NAME}, the Red Cross and partners were able to launch massive relief efforts from coast to coast, providing safe shelter, food and comfort to families who lost everything. [Please watch this a video that shows how support like yours can make a huge difference.]( Here is how your support is helping families impacted by disaster: · In the last few weeks, the Red Cross and community partners have provided nearly 1 million overnight stays in emergency shelters due to hurricanes. · The Red Cross has served more than 3.5 million meals and snacks to people in need. · More than 5,300 Red Cross disaster workers and more than 330 emergency response vehicles are on the ground right now, helping thousands of people affected by these disasters. · The Red Cross has distributed more than 1 million relief items like diapers, bug spray, cleaning supplies, and comfort kits that contain deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and other hygiene items from coast-to-coast. {NAME}, we could not have done any of it without you. It is your trust and your support that fuels our work. I cannot say it enough: Thank you.
