Officer Rogelio Santander, 27, was responding to a shoplifting call at a Lake Highlands Home Depot Tuesday evening when he, a second officer, and a store employee were all shot. The other officer, Crystal Almeida, 26, and the store employee remain in critical condition, but are said to be recovering.
