[Hourglass Nude Bronze Light & Diffused Bronze Light Ambient Lighting Bronzers]( Hourglass Nude Bronze Light Ambient Lighting Bronzer ($50.00 for 0.39 oz.) is a soft, medium brown with warm, yellowish undertones and a matte finish. The brand said this shade was mixed with "Nude Light," which doesn't actually exist in the Ambient Lighting Powder range, but I couldn't detect any shimmer or sparkle--everything swirled together for a natural, matte finish (matte without being flat). The consistency was smooth, finely-milled, and silky to the touch without being powdery or dusty in the pan. I don't use bronzer all that much and tend to use it as a subtle contour when I have a bolder highlighter or subtle blush color on my cheeks. I occasionally will use it along my hairline to add warmth. I like to pick up a light amount of product and gently sweep across the areas I'm applying it to. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that applied without streaking, but there was a creaminess to the finish where some color spread into my lip lines. The finish was incredibly glossy, though, and the gloss stayed on well for five and a half hours while being hydrating. The Lipglass formula is supposed to be "pigmented, very shiny and can impart subtle or dramatic color" that can be worn "on its own, over lip pencil or lipstick" and will "condition lips." The standalone version ended up looking a few shades lighter than the one I have in a palette, due to the difference in marbling, so it may be lighter or darker depending on the particular pan. It just barely shows up on my skin tone--more like a gently warming highlighter--but would be an easy, everyday kind of color on fairer complexions. It had good pigmentation in a single stroke, but the fine tip and the thinner texture made it hard to apply evenly and opaquely across my lips as a standalone shade. It would work fine for lining the edges, but I had a lot of trouble getting it to adhere and apply to the center of my lips.
