Iâm typing this from the laundromat parking lot where Iâm waiting for my blazers to finish up in the wash. I know itâs not glamorous, but itâs the truth. Itâs also the reality of running a Congressional campaign when you canât afford weekly dry cleaning. Hereâs another truth: Weâre still $4,241 short of tonightâs End-of-Quarter fundraising goal. To get this close to our goal and fall short would be devastating, especially since this is the last FEC deadline before Maryland elections. See, in a district as competitive as MD-06, political pundits are looking for any sign of weakness, especially in candidates that look like me. Itâs crucial we shut down any doubts about the strength of our movement in this next report.
