Sometimes, new updates would come along to shake things up a little, and of course I’d then fall into one of two camps: liking the change or hating it. It was all rather straightforward. Now that I’ve been around the tech scene for a while, I’ve become a little more aware of how these apps work, as well as the amount of effort and thought that goes into them. Little things like a UI change, for instance, can go a long way in helping users achieve a certain goal. Maybe adding a specific feature can make the overall customer experience much smoother. These things matter, which is why it’s important to have product managers who know what they’re doing - and there’s few out there better than Yuhki Yamashita, chief product officer at design platform Figma. Today’s premium story recaps his keynote session at Tech in Asia’s recent Product Development Conference, where he shared lots of personal experiences and insights. -- Jonathan  ---------------------------------------------------------------  THE BIG STORY [How Figma’s product chief builds magical products]( Business pressures often get in the way of building magical products.
