- The US$5 million series A round of a startup thatâs helping solve traffic problems around the world
- Why timing is key to [surviving the funding game]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Hello {NAME} I mustâve mentioned this before, but I did my university studies in Melbourne, Australia. It was my first taste of living completely alone, and I relished the independence. As an introvert, I never really got bored, and I discovered my love for grocery shopping and cooking for myself during this time. But cooking for one can sometimes feel like a lot of effort for very little payoff, so it wasnât long before I was frequently getting takeout. Lucky for my Asian taste buds, Melbourne is a multicultural city and it wasnât hard to find Asian food - of special mention is this place called Rose Garden, which was about a 10-minute walk from my accommodation. It was the very definition of soul food for me: Cantonese stir-fry from a shop run by Cantonese people. They were even sorta terse - it was just like home! Anyway, to bring this blurb full circle(-ish), one of my biggest fears as an introvert is holding up the long line to decide what to order. To avoid this, I would always hop onto the Zomato website to check out Rose Gardenâs menu and choose what I wanted before I headed out. Back then, Zomato was just a useful website to which someone had uploaded grainy photos of delectable offerings. I didnât know how big the firm was or would be - but according to todayâs premium article, it might have plans to become even bigger. Read on to find out more. -- Winston
