It was heartbreaking for my family and all of our friends - she was a pillar of the community of sorts. Amid my sorrow, I found it funny that so many people came up to me during the funeral and introduced themselves as my mom’s “best friend,” even though I’d never even met most of them. When I saw Tessa Therapeutics on our list of top fundraisers this week, it got me thinking about that time again. The Singapore-based cell therapy company aims to develop next-generation cancer treatments for hematological or blood-related malignancies and solid tumors. Imagine what it would be like if cancer weren’t such a terrifying disease. What a world would that be to live in. Its AI-powered platform combines deep learning and analytics to create innovative supply chain financing products. Last year, it used [this pitch deck]( to raise series B funding. The deck begins with a comprehensive summary about the company. It then details CredAble’s platform of services, covering each of its market ecosystems. 2️⃣ This women-focused fintech firm landed pre-seed funding with this pitch deck Lucy is a mobile app that supports women entrepreneurs financially. The deck is designed to showcase the characteristics of Lucy’s female-focused brand, explaining how the startup is guided by its mission of helping women “who are overlooked, underestimated, and underbanked become unstoppable by leveling the financial playing field.” 3️⃣ A Sequoia-backed startup secured US$60 million in series C funding with this deck Ethos, an insurtech startup based in the US, uses machine learning and data science to underwrite life insurance - no need for medical exams, blood tests, or complex paperwork. The deck introduces Ethos’ vision and its roadmap, which is geared toward untangling problems in the insurance industry.
