Like something out of Star Trek, a startup is using AI to help clinicians predict the possibility of people having a stroke. Imagine it to be similar to the Instagram story filters that are all the rage these days. Instead of going “which Disney character are you?”, it would go “how high is your stroke risk?” Being the second leading cause of death, I have seen relatives and friends inflicted with this disease.
