The idea of letting their algorithms decide on the best places to put my money, based on my risk profile, was pretty appealing - I don’t have the skill or energy to look at stocks and actively manage an investment portfolio. In that regard, a future where AI can actively trade on your behalf - be it stocks or cryptocurrency or whatever else can be traded on exchanges - doesn’t seem too far-fetched. People are increasingly turning to AI to generate insights and recommend the best course of action. It’s not hard to imagine a world where AI could use its own insights to execute trades, although I do suppose a human element is still essential. Today’s premium story focuses on a crypto company that’s using AI to give its clients useful insights - and this could ultimately lead to automating the trading process.
